Perry Gibson is a London-based photographer and founder of BOOTLOADER. His work is centred on people and the atmosphere around them. He is as comfortable building a portrait in the studio as he is working quickly through a live event, looking for moments that feel composed without losing their honesty.
Perry has photographed commissions for Cartier, American Express, Nikon, Spotify and Wimbledon. His work has taken him from backstage spaces and festival crowds to editorial shoots and major brand events. Whatever the setting, he is interested in the details that reveal something about the subject or the moment.
BOOTLOADER is the name given to Perry’s self-directed work. It currently includes Screen Tests, a portrait series created in his home studio, and Southbound, photographed while travelling through Vietnam by motorbike. It gives him space to develop ideas outside commissioned assignments and will continue to grow alongside his wider practice.
Perry is available for commissions in London, across the UK and internationally.
